Restylane© and Perlane© are Dermal Fillers. They offer an instant solution to facial lines and wrinkles and can enhance the fullness of your lips. They are used in facial sculpting by enhancing the facial contours and features, giving the face a natural looking lift.
Restylane© and Perlane are made from non-animal based hylauronic acid, a natural substance already existing in the body. It is safe and gentle, no pre testing is needed. A small amount of filler is injected with a very tiny needle into the dermis of the facial tissue to fill out deeper lines, wrinkles and folds. It maintains its shape by binding to the water in your body. Restylane© and Perlane© are long lasting, about six to nine months, and then they slowly begins to dissipate.
This procedure is done in one office visit. With the use of a numbing cream applied to the area, the procedure is tolerated well. Occasionally a small amount of bruising or swelling may be noticed for a short period of time but can easily be covered with make-up.
